This Frozen Mango Margarita works as a vibrant non-alcoholic mocktail or a proper cocktail β€” both versions are spectacular. Fresh mango blended with lime juice, a touch of sweetness, and optional tequila, served with a tajin-salt rim that adds addictive heat and tang. It's the drink everyone asks you to make again.

Instructions

  1. Rim the glasses

Mix tajin and coarse salt on a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of each glass to moisten, then dip into the tajin-salt mixture. Tap off any excess. Set glasses aside.

  2. Blend

Add frozen mango, lime juice, orange juice, agave syrup, and ice to a blender. For the cocktail version, add tequila and triple sec now. Blend on high until completely smooth β€” about 60 seconds. The mixture should be thick and slushy, not watery.

  3. Taste and adjust

Taste for balance: it should be sweet, tart, and bright. Add more lime for more tang, more agave for sweetness. If too thick, add a splash of orange juice. If too thin, add more frozen mango.

  4. Pour and garnish

Pour into the prepared glasses. Garnish with a lime wheel and a small wedge of fresh mango. Serve immediately before it melts.
